First Christmas Without Him

Brittany and her family recently suffered a horrible loss and it will be difficult to celebrate the holidays this year.

One of her friends wanted to make sure that they got some extra love this holiday season. Hope this helps make it a little brighter.

“I’d like to nominate Brittany for a Christmas Wish this year. Brittany is a newly single mom to two precious boys, Lucas and Abel, ages 5 and 3. Brittany lost her husband, Cody, on October 30th of this year. Cody was working as a manager in training at the post office and was shot and killed by another employee. Cody had recently started training as a manager so he could better provide for his family. Brittany shared that Cody was thinking of Christmas coming up and thought it would be a great opportunity to make some extra money. Their son, Lucas, celebrated his 5th birthday on November 2nd, just 3 days after his dad was killed. Even faced with this tragedy, Brittany pulled it together to celebrate Lucas’ birthday as normally as possible. Brittany has experienced a significant loss, and her ability to maintain focus on her children is a testament to her as a mother. I cannot think of someone more deserving.”
