Overachieving Teacher Winner

Today’s overachieving teacher is Madison McCutcheon and she is planning on using the money to purchase a new bookshelf for the classroom! Read what she wrote about her class below.

“I do not have the most exciting or inventive reason to enter this contest, but I want I do have is a desire to engage my students in their learning and want to have experience that will last them a lifetime. I want to transform my classroom into a ‘Reading Restaurant’ in order to do a book tasting to expose my students to different genres. I would use $500 to help cover the cost of supplies and to also get new books for my students to enjoy. Currently I have one broken bookshelf and just do not have the room to display all my books, so I would use part of the money to purchase a new bookshelf.”
